VTC, generally refered to as variable valve timing (VVT) , advances and retards camshaft timing based on various factors including rpm, engine load, throttle position, etc. While this system works well with standard camshafts, when upgraded racing camshafts are used, the system limits performance.
The TODA “VTC Killer” cam pulleys eliminate the VTC function of the K-series engine. Essentially, they remove “i” from “iVTEC”. Not compatible with stock ECU!
TODA Racing K20A Exhaust Cam gear features the same kind of construction as the intake cam gear, steel outer with aluminum inner plate. Precise timing marks are essential for tuners to advance and retard for maximum power gains.
